One of the things I always wanted to do was become a certified project management professional. This began with intense self-study, preparatory classes, and working full-time. I studied in the evenings and on weekends and often had to give up going out with friends to concentrate.

Halfway through the process, things got hard when I failed a practice test and felt like there was so much information to cover. Nevertheless, I kept going by changing my study techniques, joining a study group, and seeking guidance from those who had already been certified.

After several months of preparation, I took the exam and passed it on the first try. This brought about very good results. Not only did it improve my professional skills, but it also made me more self-assured. It created new job opportunities for me and enabled me to handle tougher projects, which, in the long run, significantly boosted my career growth.
